ELLENTON...Scheduled to open in early April, Crepes & More
will serve crepes, coffee, pastries and smoothies. It
will also stock candies, juices and cakes from Europe.
In Europe, crepes are typically thinner than pancakes
and made from wheat flour. They are often served with
savory fillings and eaten throughout the day.
This is reflected in the the restaurant's menu, which
includes crepes with fillings such as angus beef with
mushroom-brie sauce or king crab with cheese sauce.
Sweet crepes also will be offered with fillings like
vanilla ice cream with banana, toasted coconut and
macadamia nut.
"It's a version of the French crepe, but we wanted to
adjust it to the local market," Levin said.
The restaurant will have a sit-down area, Wi-Fi
service and a sampling counter, where customers can
try some of the cakes and candies imported from
Europe....
